Roslyn Packer Theatre
The largest of our theatres, Roslyn Packer Theatre seats up to 896 people and is situated 150 metres west of The Wharf Theatres. Roslyn Packer Theatre was previously known as Sydney Theatre, but was renamed in March 2015. The theatre boasts the latest in theatre design and technology, including a state-of-the-art power flying system, movable proscenium and three-part forestage/orchestra lift capable of creating a highly flexible stage environment.
Sydney Theatre Company is the resident theatre company at Sydney Opera House and performs in the Drama Theatre. The Drama Theatre is located on the western side of Sydney Opera House and seats up to 544 people.
